Someone Else's Tomorrow

A Tale of Transformation

Roger Whitley is just your average guy, doing a job he doesn't like, waiting for the weekend and plodding through life. Suddenly his life changes as he is accidentally listed as deceased. His identity card, used as a universal access device, suddenly stops working.

Clueless and lost, he is thrown into a world he never knew about and rediscovers a Roger he thought was gone forever.

  Concepts

"This proved to be a very interesting novel which is more about personal relationships, individual growth and self-understanding, than anything else. Britt's talent with the word reminds me of the early style of Robert Heinlen. What's interesting is that you can enjoy this book on two different levels. First off, you can just sit back and enjoy it for the crackling good tale that it is. But then, anyone who is interested in writing a novel of their own can read this book and use it as a model for how to do it right." - John Yamrus

"I think this will really find it's niche. Fast read and interesting." Chad H. -- Reading, PA

"I couldn't put it down " raves a local kleptomaniac

"when are you getting a real job?" asked my brother

"Do you want fries with that?" heard at the drive through

Let me introduce myself. My name is Robert Britt and my life is all about transformation.  I started out my adult life in the military, serving four years active duty in the Army Corp of Engineers and nine more years in the Reserves. I worked at a steel mill working my way up from a laborer to a Process Engineer, gaining a Bachelors degree in Psychology along the way. For the past year, I've been self-employed, working as a freelance writer and a web entrepreneur.  I've had lots of changes and faced many challenges. From being a single parent to heading a blended family, earning my degree while working full time; I've had quite a range of experiences. Many of the lessons I've learned are in Someone Else's Tomorrow, along with a plot that moves quickly along. I hope you enjoy it, and give me feedback. I'd be happy to help anyone along their path as well.

Someone Else's Tomorrow is my first novel. It is the story of someone in the near future who is forced to look in the mirror and decide who he really is. I like to think  of my writing style as a combination of Tony Robbins and Tom Robbins, with a tumbler of Tom Collins thrown in for good luck. (made with premium gin, of course)
